!Viva Fiesta!

Okay, so… we made a Fiesta medal.

I still kind of cannot believe I am typing that because somehow, in 10 years of being in business, we have never made one before? Which feels wrong for a San Antonio company that loves Fiesta as much as we do. But also, now that it is here, it feels like it happened exactly when it was supposed to.

Back in late November, we decided if we were going to do this, we did not want to half do it. We wanted it to actually feel like us.

So instead of trying to piece something together ourselves, we decided to use our 10-year anniversary as an excuse to support other female creators in Texas (because… obviously we’re going to do that).

We reached out to a few artists we were fully obsessed with, and ended up partnering with Jessica Molina, who we knew could bring something distinctly Emerald Fox to life.

And when we say she delivered… she delivered. We gave her a few loose ideas (fox, a little sparkle ), and she came back with concepts that were better than anything we could have imagined... which made our job of picking so much harder! We loved them both so much.

We wanted the focus on our anniversary, so making the “10” front and center was really important to us. It kind of became the anchor for everything else.

We knew we would love them. I do not think we were fully prepared for how much other people would love them too.

I mean… we literally got reposted by @fiestamedalmaniac and just sat there like, wait… what?? That felt very surreal in the best way.

Now we are sitting here like… why have we never done this before?

But also, after all the love this first one has gotten, I feel very confident saying this will not be our last.

And I can confidently say… this will not be the last time you see this fox.
